 Dolibarr is a GPL OpenSource project. Like a lot of other GPL projects, what is distributed is sources. Packaging for an automatic installation is most often provided by the OS distribution you use. If for Linux or BSD systems, this is easy to use because there is a lot of packages can be found "ready to use", it's not so simple for Windows. However there is a solution...
Because Windows does not offer software repositories ready to work nor packaging solution for external applications used by Dolibarr (Apache, PHP, MySQL), Dolibarr installation can seems difficult to do for unexperienced users.
So NLTechno provide a packaged version for Windows called DoliWamp that install Dolibarr but also all prerequisites (Apache, PHP, Mysql) with a simple .exe file.
