I find Dolibarr very good solution. Just i see the limitation of the Shipping module.
As far as i know is possible to specify in a delivery:
- shipping method: as a predefined value in a table (DHL/UPS/…)
- tracking number
- Incoterm
Maybe is a good solution to use as “Shipping method” a third party (supplier of the shipping service) instead a “predefined value”. Also is important to have a place to specify if the “account number” that is used in the shipping form is the one of our company, or if belong to the destinatary of the shipment.
This means that should be great to be able to extend the shipping methods with something like:
- shipping methods should be able to be specified in a third party card. This means that a third party can own several shipping methods, and that a shipping method can belong to a “third party” or to our “own company”
- Each shipping method should haveat least this data:
-The third party that supplies the shipping service
-The customer number that the shipping supplier assign to the third party that request the delivery
- Incoterm
Is possible to add something like this to the roadmap of the next version? It will simplify a lot teh deliveries control and shipments:
