I’m quit new to Dolibarr and can’t find out how to add categories into the system.
I have enabled the Tags/Categories module but the only option there is
“Link with parent tag/category automatically”, se attached image.
For example when adding a new vendor I would like to select a “Suppliers tags/categories” but it only shows an empty dropdown, where do I enter my categories?
I’ve been searching user guide and googled info but can’t find how to do it.

I understand you need assign category to Client/Provider, it is a Third Party.
1 - Enable Categories module
2 - Click top menu, Third Party
3 - search in Left Menu, Category entry, there is one for Clients, and one for Providers.
4 - click in Left Menu Categories
5 - Top right you have + to add new Categorie
Then, you Modify a Third Party, and add categorie to client/provider
i might have miss understood it. I was looking to have an option to tag an item to two different categories. As i do it right now i have problems when i download my sales report because both tags are shown in one cell.
