How To Install Dolibarr on My 2Nd Computer

Hello,

Please help me to install dolibarr on my second computer.i had already installed dolibarr on my first computer through doliwamp. know i need to install dolibarr in my next computer with access of database which is installed in first computer.(Dolibarr going to be used on sames network)

Is there any opther method to install or i can use same doliwamp to install in my second computer.

Please advise.

There is no need to install dolibarr on multiple computers.

You need to make sure your Wamp is up and running, Apache & Mysql services, that will make your 1st computer as server and rest in the network can connect to it using 1st computers IP address in web browser.

On 2nd computer browser type ip/foldername/htdocs
eg. 192.168.1.10/dolibarr/htdocs

Thanks For Reply,Meanwhile Please let me know how to ensure that wamp is running smoothly,cause i tried on my 2nd PC with typing on browser XXX.XXX.X.XX/dolibarr/htdocs but its not work.

is this necessary to install xamp?. if yes please tell me how to do this.

Dear Arshadez

To check if your wamp is working or not you can do the following -

1. After installation of dolibarr, can you able to run on 1st pc?
2. On 1st pc open browser and type following - http://localhost/
   if you see Apache page without any error means your Apache is working.
3. You can also type this to check if Mysql is working - http://localhost/phpmyadmin/
   this will take you to database management Mysql, if it open without error means its working too.

Are you using computers in home network ?
Can you ping 1st pc from 2nd pc and vice versa?
If can then in browser of 2nd pc type - XXX.XXX.X.XX/dolibarr/ or 1STPCNAME/dolibarr
and select htdocs folder once you see the list.

If you had Dolibarr installed on a hosting, you could access it from anywhere.
However, if you absolutely must only allow access locally, then you must make the necessary configuration changes to the WAMP installation to allow outside access/access from another computer. There are several aspects which need to be correct or it will not work.
This is NOTHING to do with Dolibarr.
You should search for “allow local network access to wamp”, and you will find many step-by-step guides that explain how to do this.

I Can Open Local Host & Mysql but still i unable to open dolibar from my 2nd PC
in video it’s shows connection of wamp server only and nothing has described about opening from 2nd PC
