installation error. Mysqli not connecting.

Hi all,
I am not able to start my WAMP server. I get the following error:

“Mysqli PHP functions for using Mysqli driver are not available in this version of PHP. Try to use another driver.”
[end]

it is also possible that username/password is an issue. I supplied the computer admin/password.

Please Help!

This is not an issue username/password but an issue with php installation.
Try to select mysql instead of mysqli.
If it fails, you can try doliwamp that will make a correct install of php with correct drivers.

How could i change the conf to use mysql instead of mysqli.

Your PHP installation seems to be incomplete. Usually it does supply the needed parts.
