New modules submitted back to the core ERP

Hello,

This is a generic question. We are developing a number of key pieces (to us anyway) of new functionality to ensure Dolibarr meets our customer’s needs. These includes:

  • Auto Stock Lots
  • Rolling Invoices over a specified period
  • Back to back invoicing
  • Integration to Xero Accounting

There are others as well. These are not clean modules/extensions as we had to enhance the core code. We think these could be good to submit and potentially integration back into the core product.

The simple question is how is it best to go about achieving this? This assumes that the maintainer/developer would want the code submitted?

Hello,
I think the better place for that is the github issues part. File one or more issues to open the discussion with main developers.
When you have code ready, you can submit a pull request for the develop branch. At this time, v8 is already branched, thus your propositions will be for v9.
Code will be reviewed through the pull request before to be accepted.
