Hello forum! Newby in the Dolibarr development world.
I’m developing a module and I need to create a MASK and AUTO numbering sequence for ref column.
I read the Create Numbering Module in Wiki but it points to generate a new way of numbering invoices. Can anyone point me to any article, tutorial, info or anything that may point me in the right direction? Is there anything in the skeleton that can be grabbed?
How can I can create my own custom module numbering codes?

you can get some help with Advanced Module Builder. This module helps you to make numbering models and documents models with just one click.
this is not true, module builder does not have any pages to configure autonumbering. when creating a new object there is actually a checkbox that asks if you want to manage autonumbering with custom rules (“The reference of this object must be generated automatically by custom numbering rules”) but by checking it you still don’t have a panel where to do it or a reference to the folder/file that should contain the code to do it
