We tested Dolibarr v.6.0.4 in december 2017. And decided to begin using in 2018.

When we create new offer in 2017 reference is PR1712-0001
But when create new offer in 2018 reference is (PROVXX).

I try to change in setup where show me the next reference PR1801-0002.
But when I try to create new proposal reference is (PROVXX)

Any help will be appreciate.

Hi,

I had this issue that proposals and invoices remained in draft version and were not validated. The reason was because my stock was below zero and in the settings I had to allow the stock to go below zero in order to validate the proposal/invoice.

Maybe that is also what happened here.

Thank you for your reply.
I put stock number to unlimited =0, and nothing happened.

I install Dolibarr on new clean computer and get same reference number of proposal : (PROVXX).
Even if I change in setup to: PR{YY}{mm}{0000} , still get proposal number: (PROVXX)

Any idea …

Hi there,
if you are making any PRs to the customers then you’ll ay confirm the PR (proposal). The PROVXX prefix is something that the system generates in order to follow the records in the database. I don’t think you can change it.
We are making a PRs to the customers when some of the items are not in stock and their quantity is 0 and we don’t have that problem at all.
