[India] Commercial Proposal called Quotation

The term Commercial Proposal is not used in India.

Here the term Quotation is being used.

It would be great if the term “Quotation” could be automatically used instead of “Commercial Proposal” and “Proposal” when the Country India is selected.

Right now we are doing it by manually changing it in the .lang files but the problem is when we update the system with the latest files the customizations get overwritten :unhappy:

Hope this could be solved.

Thanks

I added a new language into the CVS called “English (india)”.
If you choose it you should get optimized values for india.

GREAT!!! now that will definitely help customization much easier

Thanks Eldy

in propal.lang

Line number 3
I think the find and replace left one extra ‘s’

Proposals=Quotationss

In the group permission page the change for en_IN is not being reflected its still showing
Read commercial proposals
Proposals Remove Active Create/modify commercial proposals
Proposals Remove Active Validate commercial proposals
Proposals Remove Active Send commercial proposals
Proposals Remove Active Close commercial proposals
Proposals Remove Active Delete commercial proposals
Proposals Remove Active Export commercial proposals

Using latest CVS with lang en_IN

In this page Boxes Screen
http://localhost/dolibarr/htdocs/admin/boxes.php?action=switch&switchfrom=7&switchto=273

we do still find the word Commercial Proposals instead of Quotation
Boxes activated
Box Note/Parameters Activated on Default order Disable
Last commercial proposals

Fixed in CVS version.

HI

I am in South Africa and i have the same effects, i would like to change Commercial Proposal to Quotations,

Please provide instructions on how to, or which files to edit.

Thank you.

The term “Quotations” under my opinion is more used in the export/import business community. So it will be great to use this term in the default English Language too.
Even “proposals” is a term that is not bad, all the team understand better “quotations” than “proposals”.
