In researching & evaluating Dolibarr on a VM instance, I’ve been unable to determine if it’s capable of tracking “leased” inventory, i.e. inventory that is owned by my company but leased by outside companies. That inventory would be constantly checked in and out of the warehouse, and I need to track the status for each item such as in-warehouse, out-for-delivery, delivered, picked-up, repair, etc.
I’m fairly satisfied with all of the other capabilities; this last capability is the only one I’m unsure of and I’m wondering if this would need to be developed separately as a custom module. I could eventually determine this by trial-and-error but I suspect I can get a better and faster answer here.
It grants the ability to apply serial numbers but still assumes inventory is sold as best I can tell, I haven’t seen anything that indicates it can handle the type of in/out management I’m looking for. If you have any recommendations within the store I would certainly appreciate it.
