# Minus Percentages in Variants

We have a core charge of 5% of the cost of a new item in the variant field.  
When we enter negative percentages into the variants field and look at the lists of products it works if the variant is -30% or less. I need to allow for -95% to make the core a factor of the new price / repair price also a factor.
