Hi,

I’m experiencing the same issue described in [issue #38509](https://github.com/Dolibarr/dolibarr/issues/38509) with the **German (Austria) `de_AT` locale** in Dolibarr 23.x.

Dates are currently displayed in US format, for example:

- `05/27/2026` instead of `27.05.2026`

- `10:10 AM` instead of `10:10`

I noticed that [PR #39655](https://github.com/Dolibarr/dolibarr/pull/39655) already proposes a fix for this by changing the relevant `de_AT` format values to the Austrian formats.

Could someone with the necessary permissions please either **merge PR #39655** or **apply the corresponding changes in Transifex** , so that this issue can be fixed in an upcoming release?

I don’t have the required Transifex permissions to make the change myself.

Thanks!

Good news — it’s already fixed. langs/de\_AT/main.lang on the 24.0 branch carries FormatDateShort=%d.%m.%Y and FormatHourShort=%H:%M, while 23.0 still has the US values %m/%d/%Y and %I:%M %p, which is exactly what you’re seeing. So it shipped with v24 and nobody needs to touch Transifex for it.

If you’re staying on 23.x for now you can fix it on your own install without editing files: Home \> Setup \> Translation, switch on “Enable usage of overwritten translation”, then overwrite for de\_AT the keys FormatDateShort, FormatDateShortInput, FormatDateShortJava, FormatDateShortJavaInput, FormatDateShortJQuery, FormatDateShortJQueryInput, FormatHourShort, FormatDateHourShort and FormatDateHourSecShort. Copying the de\_DE values across gives you what you want, and the override applies to generated PDFs as well as the screens.
