Shelf location inside warehouse

I am in need to set a custom shelf-location inside the warehouse. I did a google search for “dolibarr location in warehouse”, and I found a lot of other forum posts asking for the same.

I am aware that one can add a lot of warehouses, but this is not to efficient, regarding to scanning etc. Or is this in fact how it is meant to work?

What I wanted to see was on a product tab page - one could see:
- Default warehouse
- Location inside warehouse

The location could easily be an input field, just to quickly get this working - and in the long run, this could be expanded into taking product measurements into account and tell how much space available for each shelf, how many products there can be fitted on each shelf etc…

You can have a warehouse within a warehouse, as part of the normal setup.

But it also think, it would be better to have also more settings for warehouses
like shelf row or goods receipt stock vs. goods issue stock …

At least the warehouse card should show the sub-warehouses inside.
