How to remove 'unique' tag for vendor ref. (SKU)?

Hi all,
Can somebody help with this? I want to remove the Unique tag for vendor ref. (SKU) field. My vendor has several services offered with same SKU, but with different duration, so I have to set this to follow their nomenclature.
