Error while product import using Excel 2007

Hi,

I am trying to import product using Excel 2007 template. In that the sample data provided for ‘Creation date’ is as ‘2008-12-31’. If I import a record with the same date this is working fine. If I change the date and format the same in excel to ‘yyy-mm-dd’ this is not importing. This is showng error as ‘Wrong value for field number 21 (value ‘39813’ does not match regex rule ^[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]$)’

Could you please suggest on this. Thanks

Hi,

You need to change the Excel cell format from “date” to text.
Because Excel date format convert a number into a yyyy-mm-dd
