I can't create a task in projects

I want to add a task to my project, but this is not possible. The reason why this is not possible is because of the ref. (refference) field. Its a required field to insert information. But the problem is… The insert field of ref. is not showing.

Go into setup of module project and check that a rule to number tasks is activated

I found the module ‘Tasks numbering module’ and I switched ON.
