I have followed the instructions on:

and have had no success.
I created a mysql database called dolibarr with dlbrusr assigned as a user.
I used FTP to transfer the dolibar folder containing all files as dowloaded then unzipped for this type of manual install erm/crm on to my webroot.

When I call the index page from htdocs/install everything goes to a blank white page and nothing more happens.
I tried creating a conf.php file and filling it to the best of my ability but and not sure if I am supposed to do this but there was no progress on that approach either.
I would really appreciate any assistance in setting this up in this manner. I cannot us a local computer with DoliWamp for the install as Dolibar must be accessed from mobile devices and other users outside of the office.
Is there a better set of instructions to install this software on a shared hosting service?
Perhaps a step by step with screen shots.
