Account- drop down list not showing- add new financial bank account

Using my Dolibarr Financial modules

Hi,
when I am trying to add a new bank account to the Bank account section, the drop down for Account not showing any values. version 11.0.1

Hi Jenson,

Well, you did not load a chart of accounts as advised earlier. You need to go to "Accounting/Setup/Chart of Accounts and then choose and load the chart relevant to your country :

Afterwards, this drop-down list will be populated. Alternatively switch the accounting from expert to basic mode and this parameter will not be mandatory and can be filled as a free value.

Depending on what you want to do in terms of accounting, you may consult an accountant to properly configure these parameters.

Hi Simicar,
I have checked the same version 11.0.1 , fresh install in my localhost. In that the account field is not mandatory.
The upgraded ( Beta 11 to stable 11.0.1)one showing the field is mandatory. How would i remove that.

In module setup, chose ‘Accounting Simple’ or ‘Accounting Advanced’
