BatchMailer v0.2.0 released
I’ve just published BatchMailer v0.2.0, a conservative, safety-focused batch email module for Dolibarr aimed at administrative and operational use (memberships, reminders, notices).
BatchMailer was developed for a small charity because Dolibarr’s mass email facility is not easy to configure, yet with Stripe or PayPal modules configured, Dolibarr offers a personalised payment page for subscriptions to members.
BatchMailer is designed to be very simple for non-technical users to create profiles of members, applying simple include/exclude filters. These also provide tokens for use in the email, which are written in templates, to provide the personalisation.
Emails are sent in batches, in sizes determined by the user, to avoid clogging up email systems.
BatchMailer can be used for general purpose bulk emailing, and as a side benefit, it can be used for the non-technical user to quickly obtain lists of paid-up members etc.
This release introduces a guided four-stage workflow (Profiles → Recipient Lists → Templates → Send), stronger campaign state handling, mandatory preview and dry-run validation, admin safety controls, and a fully rewritten user guide with in-app help.
BatchMailer is intentionally not a marketing tool: no tracking, no automation, no background sending—just explicit user actions, transparency, and recoverability. The module uses Dolibarr’s existing email configuration and upgrades cleanly from v0.1.0.
