I tried to add the Module builder to my Dolibarr installation, and now no-one with Admin rights can get anything on the screen.
The TOP menu bar appears but nothing else.
Any suggestions?

Have a look to your hosting logs to get the error
Hosted locally.
Normal user can log in fine.
Group permissions page shows ADMIN group has ZERO permissions!
Which I guess is why there is no content on the page.
Gained access to database and removed ADMIN from user and can now see things, but no SETUP access.
To have setup acces, the user must have the admin flag set to 1 (field admin into table llx_user)
As sson as the ADmin flag is set, the user loses visible access.
Upon logging in, the top blue menu bar is visible but NOTHING else.
Worst part, this happened after installing the Module Builder module from the dolistore.
It has clearly broken something major.
The module builder is not an external module on dolistore. It is a core module. About which dolistore module are you speaking ?
If you have top menu and rest empty it means you have a fatal error happening when falg admin is set. Surely the external module you add.
Take a look into the apache error log file to get info on what is the file that generate the fatal error

It was the Advanced module Builder from the store ‘module_damb-1.0.7’
Does your dolibarr version was <= 14.0 ?
You can try to remove the directory custom/damb.
Dolibarr version 16.0.2 Runnung on debian

I cannot find a directory ‘custom’ or ‘damb’ ??
Found the ‘damb’ directory and deleted it.
Admin appears to be back in action.
