Change Drop Down Selection Box Contents

Hi there,

I’m new to Dolibarr and am trying to learn a little more about it. The product was discussed in one of my undergraduate studies courses and I’d like to get more familiar with it.

Most new software products come with a long learning curve, but something I’m finding particularly elusive in the documentation I’ve managed to find and directly in the database is where Dolibarr stores the contents of numerous drop down selection boxes.

For example, if you want to create a new product, there’s a line called “Nature.” This drop deown selection comes prepopulated with two entries: Manufactured Product and First material.

How can I edit this list? Are there any clear database dictionaries that explain the contents of all of these tables to make it easier for me to find the location of items like this one?

I’m afraid this list is hard coded with only this two values. No way to edit them.

hello eldy. first you are doing one of the greatest work i have saw that one man can do.
about dolibarr, is that mean that if my client have for example t-shirt so it’s hard to change the code in products?? because over ther there is only option for kg or metros…
is that right or there is a way to change this things??

With 3.2, you can add personalized fields to describe your product.
