Chart of Accounts How to Make New Module

New to Dolibarr
As I need an Australian Chart of Accounts I was thinking of making an Australian COA Module for other to also use.

The idea would be to back engineer an existing module and modify it.

Where are the COA modules located in the Dolibarr framework so I can copy one to use or is this not a good idea?

Is there some place I can get the AU chart of Accounts for Australia?

Let’s hope Weblan can reply to you favorably.

If not, I would see 2 options

  • Take a closely related chart of account (maybe UK), and adapt it to Australia. The chart of account can be fully edited (create/delete/amend accounting accounts).

  • Take contact with a Dolibarr supplier in Australia which may have what you need in store (https://wiki.dolibarr.org/index.php/Dolibarr_suppliers_Australia)

Sorry people, I was working on an Australian chart of accounts but got diverted to other tasks. I can not say when I will be revisiting it.

I managed to find a national list and created my own.
