I just installed the 18.xx verison of Dolibarr onto a Ubuntu 22.04 server. While configuring for a US chart of accounts, there does not appear to be a method for changing the account numbering scheme from the default 3 or 4 digit length. I would like to have a 5 digit chart of accounts but when I began creating a custom COA, it defaulted to only allowing up to 4 digits. For example: I created the main Assets parent account to be 10000, but it will only record this with a number 1. Create the Cash subaccount as 10100 which will be a parent account to those accounts such as Checking & Savings etc, & it records it as 101.
How can this be changed???
Click on Accounts > Setup and check as per the below figure.

And here I thought I had been through all the settings… Guess I’m just blind in one eye & can’t see out of the other. Thanks for update, was the correct setting.
