Composite products and virtual products

Hi! I’m new on Dolibarr, using version 8.0.3 and i have some issues when working with composite products.

I’ve readed in older posts (version 5.0.3) that virtual products can be part of other products. I’ve created products that are for sale and not to buy, that could be the “parent products”

Then i’ve created other products that are not for sale but yes to buy, that are subproducts of that parents. It’s ok until here, at least it seems.

When i do a new order of my customer my stock i’ts only affected by the parent products,but not for that subproducts/virtual products. Any ideas? what i’m doing wrong?

Hello, I think the parent product would be available to order as per the current system.

In the sub products, you should get the option to increase/decrease stock - that would affect products.

I’ve activated that option on the virtual products, but seems not working. Now i0m busy, but later i will made some screnshots to show you my current config.

I’ve maded a product called product 1. That product have 2 subproducts calles subproduct 1 and 2.

Then i’ve maded a selling order to my costumer. The stock don’t move.

Also i’ve maded the shipment… but don’t works too…

Any ideas?

In them screenshots, that shipmenmt is validated. Have you tried ‘closing’ it? I think the number change might happen after you CLOSE it

Nope… wont work.

Something really bad may be happening here. Also the “Virtual products” has dissapeard… i wil try to reinstall and start from scratch again.
