Hello everybody. First of all, I wanted to thank all the developers and contributors who make Dolibarr possible, and who are doing a great job.
However, I would like to make a constructive criticism (it is my opinion, it does not have to be shared), and about which, I would like the developers, as well as the users, to talk. The issue is about the way in which Dolibarr, is expanding its functions, which is very good, however, it seems that it leaves functions by the way, some of which, since version 8 “in development” or " Experimental ", which, it seems to me, quite absurd, adding more and more modules or functions, without having finished (or barely advanced in) those that were already pending. Among other modules are:
-Human Resources.
-Dynamic prices (from version 8 I think nothing has advanced).
-Assets
-Workstations (it only has 1 version, but I find it curious that 4 more modules are added in version 14, such as event organization, knowledge, partnership, when this module has not yet been completed).
-Labels
-Data Privacy Policy (it takes little too, but in the European Union, it is mandatory to comply with the GDPR).
-Collab
-Webservices (SOAP).
-Make delivery notes directly without order
I want to influence, once again, the MAGNIFICENT AND ALTRUISTIC work that the entire Dolibarr team does (I collaborate with what little I can, such as translations into my language, Spanish), and buying the modules that I have been needing. I do not know how Dolibarr development works, if all the developers make all the modules, if some developers take care of 1 or more modules and others do not touch them, or how it works, and I only wanted to influence, in the strange thing, that there is quite a few modules, still unfinished after several major versions (in particular I am in version 8, and the modules that I expose, unless I ask otherwise, have been since that version with few changes in their state (development or experimental). But I insist on the same thing again, I think it convenient, before adding more functions, finish the existing ones, because Dolibarr may run the risk of becoming a giant full of functions, many of which do not work or are incomplete to be used…
Please take into consideration this criticism, which is intended to be constructive and with which I do not intend to offend any member or developer of Dolibarr.
