I’m just starting my own company and I’m really exited about dolibarr. There’s just one thing I can’t figure out: my dolibarr interface language is English. I have to create the invoices in an other language because of local regulations.
If I set my user-specified language (dolibarr interface / site) to the other language, the invoices are created in that language.
I would like something so I can choose in which language to print the invoice, or hard-code it somewhere. I don’t want to change my interface language every time I want to create an invoice.
The language used for PDF documents is not related to Dolibarr’s user, it is related to the concerned third party.
So go to the third party card, you will see “Language by default”, set up this value to the language that you want to be used for the PDF related to this third party.
The only thing is, there’s no “Language by default” button or field in my third party card. I do see the entry in the SQL database (on NULL), but I don’t think that’s the place where I should be editting this.
The setup to create the invoice in the language of the third party is OK.
By the way I would find very useful to have the same invoice printed in 2 or 3 languages, e.g.: in English as global language, in the language of the third party and in the default company country language.
The documents should be concatenated in one unique multi language document (E.G. first native language, English, third party language… or any other desired order, the user should be able to decide the language to fit specific cases)
Do you know any way to implement this feature in Dolibarr?
I hope is not too long or difficult to be done…
It would be extremely useful to handle cases where are involved complex product/services/contracts/bundles/conditions/agreements and in general information that must be surely clear to all parties which have to sign the documents in various stages up to the signature of the final invoice and proof of consignment of the goods/services.
