How do you add currency symbols to Dolibarr?
Currently my installation is showing currency amounts without a leading currency symbol.
Can you provide an example of what you will like to get ?
Sure. $10.00 instead of 10.00.
This will require some changes into code.
What is for you priority where have the $ symbol ? Into PDF i imagine ?
The Symbol here-with is Euro, I want to change this into other currency, e.g. $
Can be change as default, but if multiple? How to do it, Including the date instead of 05/24/2022 it would be 24/05/2022
The formatting of the date depends on the country within the language settings (under home → settings → display). The first version is e.g. used in en_US and the second one in en_GB. If your customer and suppliers are international: For every third party you can define their language/country and documents will be created in their language and with their version of the date formatting.
How do you achive to get currency prefix? I would like to show currency symbol in sales orders:
For example:
P.U. HT : $ 1,000.00
Total HT: $ 1,000.00
Total IVA : $ 1,200.00
Total TTC: $ 1,200.00
Request your kind help as our current sales orders and invoicing are perfect but the clients are asking us to add the currency symbol as a prefix.

They way I did is to open the Multi Currency Module.
Then. On Creation of the Customers or Vendors You need to assigned the Default Language which is significant for the currencies.
