I am the author of Doli Site Inspection, a module for companies that carry out periodic inspections at their customers’ sites: fire safety, hygiene, pest control, accessibility.
Each site is attached to its customer and divided into control points: a building, a floor, a kitchen. The technician assesses the criteria of each control, with photos. An anomaly can get a corrective proposal, and the inspection ends with a PDF report for the customer. The next visit is scheduled in the agenda, and the site history is kept from one year to the next.
The module works with Dolibarr 21 and later. This thread is open for questions and feedback, and I will answer here.
We have done a lot of work in this area ourselves (Health & Safety Consultancy companies + LEV testing + TR19 Cleaning + Property Inspections etc) we initially tried a module in Dolibarr but users didn’t find it intuitive enough + some of the forms are quite long/complex (dynamic parts) and trying to build them in Dolibarr was too time consuming and not flexible enough.
Many users users wanted to use forms on a mobile phone/tablet as they went around sites/properties (not make notes on paper and then re-type them out back at the office) and they needed to work offline as well as online because not all sited had internet access.
For one Health & Safety company we have digitised 150+ forms, some only 1 page in length others are 80+ pages and they have a lot of dynamic elements/automations in them. Also we can take photos and embed them directly, mark up the photos, capture digital signatures etc.
We found the best (intuitive for user, simple/fast to use, no re-entering of data for the user back at the office + offline/online access etc) way to handle these was to use an external forms app and then integrate it with Dolibarr.
Attached is a PDF example of one such form (the dropdowns are dynamic you can’t see these in a PDF, but when different options are selected the form changes dynamically).
