Dolibarr URL access

Dear All,

Could you please help me out on how to make :

1- Remote PC who access dolibarr server point to a different alia/url rather “than http://192.168.1.4/dolibarr-4.0.4/dolibarr-4.0.4/htdocs/” . because now what’s happening is that we access the IP address + htdocs + Dolibarr-4.0.4 + Dolibarr-4.0.4 + htdocs then login screen we want to simplify and get through the loging screen by only one click?

Where did you installed? since it is not a Dolibarr related issue, nobody can help you with some more info, I think… Linux, Windows, ISP, etc…

Hello - Thanks in advance let me take it this way : i have PC1 & PC2
PC1 : Running WIndows7 64bit / Dolibarr 4.0.4 / IP:192.168.1.50
Access to dolibarr localhost is working prefect on PC1

PC2: Running Windows7 64bit / connected in the same network as PC1 IP:192.168.1.70
I want PC2 access to Dolibarr which is installed on PC1 : Working fine through this URL:192.168.1.50 which bring the dolibarr home page - we have then to chose the project and login screen will popup.

My question is there anything that we can do to allow PC2 access to dolibarr/project using like URL : DoliERP instead of the IP address.?

Hope my question is clear now and it is with relation to Dolibarr/Wamp. Many thanks in advance for your great support.

In PC2 put this in the windows hosts file

192.168.1.50 DoliERP (or whatever you wish to type in your browser address bar)

Thank you - will try this and check - but how i let the user accessing from PC2 go throug the project straight forward whithout allowing him to see dolibarr home page and let him choose teh project to get throug the login screen ? (plz see screenshoot)
