Dolibarr will only show setup after update

Hey there,
I just wanted to update our companies dolbarr.
I downloaded the newest version, put it up via FTP and went through the setup-routine. I suggested me “which update” I should do and everything went without errors. Afterwards I renamed the “install”-folder back to “install.lock” and wanted to load up dolibarr. Now it shows me “setup isn’t complete” (german version, therefore I don’t know the exact english message, but I hope you’ll get it). Since the install-folder now is called install.lcok I can’t go further, it loads to a 404.

Does anyone know where I made a mistake?

Hello

You have misunderstood the setup procedure I think. You do not rename any folder. You create the file.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Rename the folder back to ‘install’
  2. Run setup again and follow it through until it let’s you login
  3. Create a FILE in the ‘/documents’ directory and call it ‘install.lock’ as in the attached picture below:
