I was reviewing using the experimental ticket printing module in Dolibarr 12 and I see that it is so complex to configure, with this module would not be possible to print to a local Windows printer if I have my installation of Dolibarr in a cloud hosting service, since it is expensive to have a public fixed IP just to present the ticket printer over the network.
I suggest you to implement in this ticket printing module the same automatic local printing functionality from the browser, as it currently works through “TakePOS Connector”, since it is not necessary to have a public IP to present the printer to the installation of dolibarr in the cloud in the cases in which we have Dolibarr in a hosting service.
If this is not possible then I suggest keeping the TakePOS connector for those of us who have this small business use case. TakePOS connector had been an easy way to print tickets directly and automatically from the browser.
