Hello
I think that this was already proposed, non the less I take a chance to propose it again.
When a client’s order is created often there is the need to generate one or more supplier’s orders.
As far as I know there is no automatic way to generate such supplier’s orders.
It would be seriously handy and time sparing to be able to generate the supplier’s order starting from the original order of the client, this to avoid time loss and especially to avoid errors.
Some articles might be bought from different suppliers, e.g. one supplier is more expensive but always have the items, another supplier is less expensive but sometimes does not have the items in stock or have a minimum order quantity etc…
Therefore it would be great to be able to convert a clients order in one or more supplier’s order, this would be best done when is is possible to select all items and assign it to one supplier or to select groups of items and assign it to several different suppliers
The generation of more orders could be done with a “select all” button and assign it to one supplier or by selecting a group of items with boxes or radio and assign it to a supplier, then select another group and assign it to another supplier etc, the assignation to suppliers should be done automatically to the preferred one or in alternative manually to a different one that was assigned to the product as second/third/N choice…
Very important in that case is the check on the whole list, the form should warn if some item was forgotten during the process…
Hope to have written something useful.
Is something like this already existing or partly existing in Dolibarr?
I think that it is a very important feature, is something like this in plan to be implemented in Dolibarr?
By the way, for as far as I know Dolibarr, I must surely write that is awesome, very much appreciated by me.
Thank you to have developed such an application, I find it really good overall…
Thank you
Best regards
D.
