When i am sending an email from customer invoice then there is an option name “Delivery Ack.” what’s it use for? First i thought i will get a acknowledgement email when receiver will open or received my email. But i am not getting anything.
I’m not sure butt i think it is for when someone has read the email. Butt the receiver must allow the email to be send to you. If he says no. You won’t get anything.
Correct. Only some companies have their mail servers set as default to send receipts. You cannot control it except for asking for it. I have my email setup to default to request receipts (acknowledgements) but I don’t always get them.

You can only REQUEST from Dolibarr. It is upto GMAIL to tell Dolibarr that this email has been read, or ask the gmail user if he/she wants to send a ‘read’ receipt back to dolibarr.
