Get product barcode value on ODT document

Hi,
I would be very grateful if some one could help me out.
I customized all my doc template to be printed on an odt file , but need to add a field for bar code (code-bare) in the products line. either as bare number xxxxx or as a code bar png image.

Kindly post in case you could get any break-through to know how to get product barcode displayed in the invoice using ODT document.
