Ho to create an Order Confirmation?

Hi guys,

After i have created an Offer my Customer have ordered the Product.
So ein create a new Customer Order in Dolibarr.

Now i need to send my Customer an Order Confirmation.

How can i do this???

Hi Tiaris,

as i allready wrote in the german forum i have renamed the “Proforma Invoice” line in “Order confirmation” in the langauge file.
This will helps for the first time but it is not a permanent solution.

You are right, it is not The solution, but in standard Dolibarr does not have this function.
I am planing working on a module which will implement thoose features (and other ISO stuff…:wink:

you can prepare and generate ODT template ORDER ACKNOLEDGEMENT which will be the same as Proforma but for those customers who expect Order confirmation you can send this document. Also you can add an extre field in order lines EDD - estimated delivery date and to confirm order with EDD for each rpoduct/service. Using ODT templates enable you to have more flexibility and powerful sales force with Dolibarr. From one object you can generate many documents with ODT - by example Warranty card, Proforma, OA, Delivery Note, Insurance policy… what you and your customers need.
