How does one calculate labour costs in a manufacturing

Hello, is there a way to calculate labour costs in a manufacturing. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is not too much of a trouble, could you please elaborate on your answer as I am very new to Dolibarr.
For example, just a few simple steps would help as to how to use the time sheet and where should I add the labourers and can I link it to a manufacturing order.

Hi

First you need to set average hourly rate for each people .

Then when you want to calculate labour cost you will need to create a project ( you will need to enable the project module ) or create a PO (or others ) with project to track the time and bill .

Hej trekmorris,

i just add the average time of assembling a product (in our case clocks) to the MO. I created a service tha scalled assembly and set a cost per hour to it. In the MO i created a line with this service and the time to assemble the product (in our case 0,25 for 15 minutes). Together with the raw material i can see how much it costs to produce this product.
