How Dolibarr can work with Agents?

I have the case here in Tanzania, one of my client want the product like dolibarr but there is a special client request like-:

  1. Company work with Agents sells on behalf of the company and gets commission

  2. The company sell Tractors are serviced as a part of contract for the 1st 1000 kms by the company

I need to know how the system can work on that? there is any module that can manage this activities?

You can make a report with Dolibarr to know who validate the purchase order or validate the bill or the quote. use Agenda Report

a product on dolibarr can be used to sell/buy with third parties

we built a module for commission agents in the development version, it will be available in the next stable version (3.3)

the module for commission is also on sale for version 3.1.1 and 3.2 if you cant wait for 3.3 (2013 i guess).

Let me try and elaborate a bit more on what is happening.

There is this company selling Tractors to farmers.
This company make use of Agents also to do the sale. These agents are given these tractors and keep them at their locations.

When a sale is made, Agent gets commission of 5% currently of the sale value.

After Sale services:
These tractors are maintained by this Company in the first 1000 hours. these 1000 hrs are split into intervals, at 50hrs / 300hrs / 500hrs / …

This company needs to track the sales, Agents sales + commissions and After sale services to tractors.

The sales of tractors is on Loan bases, So the company need to track the repayment plan and payments.

Agent is responsible to follow up loan repayments for the sale he/she has made.

Servicing the tractors is the responsibility of the Company. The company will provide labor in these service but Oil and filters is paid by the farmer.

Among the features required by the company is to know

  1. What is the stock at every agent, how many sold, how much money collected, …
  2. Services to each tractor, how many have finished the 1000hrs, what stage is each tractor in.
  3. Different loan reports like what are the outstanding loans, how much collection expected this month, Age analysis, …

NB: Tractor is the main Item but there are other farm appliances also.
