Just installed Dolibarr 3.2.2 for the first time and I’m trying to figure out how to map my use case and customer base to dolibarr.
I have been hunting this mysterious “Create user” and “Create dolibarr user” that I’m supposed to use to create a user for thir party customer, but there is no such button.
I have turned on every module there is but there is no such button in the 3rd party/customer card.
My Case:
I have a printing press that makes posters and brochures for different customers. They have already paid for the merchandise and I just want them to be able to make orders when they need the stuff from my warehouse.
They log in as a third party user and make an order.
I collect the stuff and mail it out
They can track the order with a tracking number.
My clients have a branch level user who can order stuff for smaller units and the small unit user who can order stuff just for him.
I have many clients that cannot see other client’s printed material. I hope the products can be separated by client and maybe even inside client to branch level/smaller unit
Well that makes sence. I was going through everything in the Third party card. Maybe the external creation info should be changed from the wiki "To create an external user, go on the card of a third party, then click on button “Create user”. " to something like “To create an external user, create a contact for your customer and then from the contact’s card press “Create user” button.”
I have customers who cannot see products that are available for other customers. So every customer has their own products they can order. Assortment module took care of this while ordering, but products and stocks are still visible.
Is there a way to hide customers, customer products and customer orders from other customers?
We are using Dolibarr 3.6.0 and have created an external user. When external user login, they cannot create an order. Is there a way the external use can see products and create orders?
