How to create daily activity by user on new prospects

hi,

i am a new user, previously we used to follow new prospects by manually adding reminders in google calendar (like : to make a phone call).

now in dolibarr we have created prospect in third parties. how can we create follow-ups and at end of the day or next day mark status (complete, in progress, pending)

pls. suggest

Hello,

In the prospect (thirdparty) card, at the bottom you will find a direct link to create an event. This will be assigned to the user creating the event and linked to the prospect. You can assign other users and define concerned contacts in the thirdparty. Moreover, you can set an event type with a start and ending date/time, allowing you to monitor this in the agenda view where filters are available per user/thirdparty/projects/status. In the event card you can define a completion level as well.

I think this feature should satisfy your request, doesn’t it ?

thanks for your reply

i created event in prospect(third party) and set status “to do”.
on the next day or day after tomorrow, i want to mark progress that we have contacted and the event is finished.

or i wish to get on dashboard alert on 15th day that i have to do this work.

Yes, you can update the progress made by editing the event of course.
On the dashboard you have an agenda box giving the agenda todo events and a widget listing them. You can play with the setup of the dashboard to make it more convenient to your usage.
