How to set default value for warehouse description?

Hi,

I tried to set a default description for the warehouse form like:

URL: product/stock/card.php?action=create
Field: desc
Value: Doesn’t seem to work!

But that doesn’t seem to work!

Currently using 11.0.3!

What am I doing wrong?

If you want help, explain in detail what you have done, what was the output/error message etc…

And V11.0.3, you should first update to at least 11.0.5

Hi,

No error message at all; and the default value wasn’t inserted in the Description field!

We have upgraded to V14.0.5. But this test has to wait till tomorrow. I’ll try that first, OK!

Version 14.0.5 gives the same problem no default value is being set and no error message!

I tried to set the default value (Setup>Default values/filters/sorting; selecting Default values tab) for a new warehouse using :

URL: product/stock/card.php?action=create
field: town
value: ATown

But when inserting a new warehouse the Town field remains empty!? NO error messages!

What am I doing wrong; or is the implementation incorrect?
