We closed a third party due to them refusing to pay so we won’t do business with them anymore.
However, one employee did not receive this information so when he searched for the customer he found no matches, and created a new customer with the same settings as the one we closed. It became a bit of a mess.
I looked up why he didn’t find the closed customer and it seems that when entering third party name in search box, the search is automatically set to filter “Open” third parties and this was the reason the closed customer never showed up.
Question: when we search third parties, how do we make sure all of them are searched (even closed ones) without having to change “Open” to “(empty)” in the search list every time?
