How to switch browsers for local use

Greetings DBer’s:

First time poster, and getting used to using the software which looks to be most excellent. Wanting to move away from QB.

DB opens up using Firefox as the browser to use. I would like to switch it over to another browser such as Brave. How do I set the software to open up using that instead? Any help appreciated.

Hi,

don’t know your exact setup, but you can use any browser and go to the URL of the Dolibarr installation. If required, this URL can be bookmarked in the browser as usual.

Yes… that is correct, thank you, but I when I click on the url on my desktop, I want it to open a specific browser. It always opens FF. Thoughts? I am trying to avoid a step in first having to open a browser, then type in the url, PW, etc.

Change the target of the shortcut to be like:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" http://localhost/dolibarr

Where the first part is the location of the browser executable and the second part is the URL to open.

Hmm… Change that here?

Try creating a new shortcut first to avoid any mistakes and lose the current one
