Howto change date format from MMDDYYYY to DDMMYYYY

I recently installed Dolibarr 5.0.4 on debian 8 and it works very well except that I don’t find any way to change date format from US (MMDDYYYY) to Indian (DDMMYYY).

When I go to Home>Admin tools>About Dolibarr> Localisation parameters I see Parameter HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE –> en-US,en;q=0.8 which I suspect is the reason for showing date in US way but I have no idea how to change that.

Any help in this matter would be much appreciated. Thank you

You can try to force language, going on Home - Setup - Display - Set language to en_IN instead of “automatic detection”.
However, it seems that language en_IN was set to use same language code than en_US. To fix this you must edit the file

htdocs/langs/en_IN/main.lang
