Howto search for specific action by text?

How can I search for a specific action containing an entered text?
I would like to start from …dolibarr/comm/action/index.php and enter some search text for a specific action like “Invitation for exhibition XYZ”.

How can I find all added actions with this text?

As Admin: With phpMyAdmin Global Search in mySQL databases - in Postgres I don’t know. Then transform the mySQL commands used to PHP and include it in your code.

As User: There is an upcoming Module “Global Search” by ATM.

To be honest: 60,00 € for a search-everywhere function seems a little bit overpriced IMHO.

Maybe something like such a search will be implented in a future version?

I think the Global Search becomes very complicated once you want to display not only the ID of the result - BUT ALSO the context.

If you have access to vtiger 5.xx (or some spare time to install it WITH demo data!), then you can try ther Unified Search there.

This kind of output is what I would call “useful”.
