is it possible to import the balances of bank accounts?
I found this solution, as a plug-in.
But is there a manual way to import a csv-file with bank details?

Yes, You can do manually import bank statements. Open the desired bank card where you will enter the statements. Noe click on tab Bank entries. Now at the top right side of the list you get a link called, NEW ENTRY. There you can add new bank statements.
Manually import bank statements is not acceptable.
I want to automatically import my bank statements. I have no trouble to rework the files I download from my bank before importing them.
This should be a well documented and easy to customize included feature of Dolibarr.
Not an external plugin.

Can we integrate any Bank with dolibarr so that we can automatically reconcile bank entries with the dolibarr transactions…?
I guess this feature is available in all of the contemporary CRM/ERPs.

I assume with “all contemporary ERPs” you are referring to other free open source ERP solutions, which you had a closer look at? Would be helpful, if you could provide some additional information, i.e. which projects provide this support and ideally also which data formats/interfaces are supported. If the work has already been done in other projects, this could be a blueprint for an implementation in Dolibarr.

Can anyone give me a link to how automated bank statements are currently implemented in Dolibarr?
If not, then please note that automated bank statement imports in everything from simple accounting applications to full ERP’s has been a standard feature for years .
If the Dolibarr project wants to compete in these spaces then I suggest that this feature needs to be added asap.
Here are two(2) explanations of the automated bank statement import process of a competitor proprietary product known as “QuickBooks Online”:

What is the arrangement from the bank side please…?
Do they send statements on email…? Some banks say they will upload the CSV file on a secured drive that has access only to you and the bank… Some banks say you need to import them manually…?

"Online Banking is one of QuickBooks Online’s most helpful and time-saving features. When you electronically connect a bank account to QuickBooks Online, the application automatically downloads and categorizes bank transactions for you. You will need to check with your financial institution to see if this service is available, and if so, whether there is an additional fee."
Many banks donot allow API to their systems…? They seem to be more worried about security…
My opinion is that if we can get a module to pay automated GST / Tax to government, it will be more nice than bank integration…
