I think that the charset should be utf8 and utf8_unicode_ci as it is mentionned in the wiki : Language and development rules - Dolibarr ERP CRM Wiki

I run this command and it worked (although Database charset still = latin1)
/install/repair.php?force_utf8_on_tables=confirmed
@Unfinisher: just goto the desire category and press plus button
BTW, I found sth interesting: the file size in Dolibarr backup module isn’t correct (Kb or KB)
Sorry, but I can’t find the plus button. Do you mean the plus at the bottom left? It is for the custom section, can’t find the plus for topic creation. Here’s a screenshot:

from what I understand, following a recent flood of spam, a delay has been introduced between the creation of a new account and the possibility of creating a new topic .

I think it is a good practice to implement a delay. It would be great if they notified us or maybe grey out the new topic button, saying, “You have to spend X amount of time before you can create a post”.
