Linking supplier proposals to projects

Hi everyone, I am unable to link an (existing) vendor proposal to a project that is linked to a third party. This is normal?
I ask this, because when I go to the overview and create the “+” link in the supplier proposal, it links correctly to the project.

I identified that if I remove the third party link from the project, I can make the inclusions. But then I have the work of taking and inserting this information so that I have a history of projects linked to a certain third party.
