Does any one know of any modules that allow for traceability and saving of historic data of products, and manufacturing. There are a few I have seen that may do the job, but slightly lost in translation as documents are in French.
Example, I purchased parts A,B & C.
Parts A & B have certificates of conformity (Lot number/serail number), which need to go with the manufactured product Z.
I build product Z, and then sell it…
As soon as the parts have been picked with BoM, currently and data attached to that item disappears, along with any traceability…
As soon as I have sold product Z, that disappears too.

every movement (goods receipt/production/shipment/etc…) is recorded and stored in the agenda “Movements” (find it under Warehouses).
It’s not very comfortable but in the end it’s traceable what happened to a specific S/N.
This is also a workflow I have been looking at while developing BatchSafe Pro.
Dolibarr already keeps stock movements and lot/serial information, but in some laboratory or manufacturing environments it can be useful to have an additional structured layer around the lifecycle of a material or batch.
BatchSafe Pro is a standalone web application focused on:
- Materials and batch/lot management
- Expiry date tracking
- Stock information
- Batch status and lifecycle management
- QR-based identification
- Search and filtering
- Role-based access
For a workflow such as:
Raw material → Lot / certificate → Manufacturing → Finished batch → Release / rejection
the idea is to make the batch information easier to identify and follow throughout its lifecycle.
At the moment, BatchSafe Pro is standalone and does not replace Dolibarr’s native manufacturing or stock movements. I am currently evaluating closer integration with Dolibarr, especially for workflows where batch traceability and recall management are important.
If this is still a relevant requirement for you, I can share some screenshots or explain the current workflow.
