Hi,
How would we do a marketing campaign? If we are sending a number of our clients a letter with a marketing pack per post, we would like to register this somewhere. It is not a proposal or a lead…how can we do this?

Yes, but we also have regular normal campaigns that are not done via email

I use the Links field to record details of campaigns - email or letter or phone. You can export a list of company addresses / contacts you want to target. Use Word mail merge or similar and send out the letters / emails.

Then you create a mysql file using the company number to have a permanent record of the mailing / email in the Links section
