Hi,
I had recent issues with shipment, I could not print the full delivery (more than 150 line items) of single sales order. To resolve that I had created smaller 4 sales orders (keeping the original order as it is) and created shipment.
Now, thanks to @ksar, my problem is solved for the shipment. (Solution here https://urlis.net/7k9th)
But now I want my sales order to be single. Is it possible to merge Sales orders and link all of those shipments and invoices?
Thanks.
You have the ability to merge the PDFs for chosen orders (go to the orders list, check the checkboxes at the end and from TOP select “PDF Merge”), but not merge the orders themselves. This can be done also for shipments, invoices, etc.
Thanks @milenmk, appreciate your reply.
But PDF merge will not work for me, It would Sales order merge. Because otherwise, I will need to delete many invoices and create again new to adjust in this sales order. As I am also not able to link the invoices of other smaller sales orders created for time being (same project, same third party) to the main sales order.
If not the merge, can we have any way to link the invoices and shipment?
Open an invoice and scroll down to “Link objects” on the right side you can manually link orders and/or shipments to the current invoice
Click on the link and you will have a list of possible documents with a number, indicating how many of each type can be linked. In my case, I can link 3 sales orders, as shown on image 2.
Here is a list f possible document types to link. If I choose the customer orders, as I have 3 possibilities there, I am forwarded to the screen shown on image 3.
Here I can choose which order to link to this invoice.
Same as the above can be done for shipments, contracts, tickets, purchase orders etc. as long as you have an itme that is not already linked to an invoice.
Moreover, If you go to the customer orders LIST, and choose let’s say 5 orders for the same customer by clicking on the checkbox on the most-right, then from the mass action at the top you have the ability to create one invoice including the items in those 5 orders.
